Making Maisel: The 2 piece set with scalloped crop jacket
In this video, I will be pattern hacking and trying to recreate a costume from the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel! This is the first video of a series I am doing called the Midge-le of the Month, where I make an outfit inspired by the show every month!
Outfit details -
Bodice: Darts to princess seams
Pencil Skirt with back vent
Jacket with scalloped edges, ¾ sleeves with curved hem (from Gertie’s Night and Day dress)
I used a medium weight cotton blend for the dress, and a satin for the lining.
