In the fields of mining, quarrying, tunneling, and civil engineering, rock blasting is a highly effective method for fracturing
and moving rock. For safety, minimal material handling, less ore loss and dilution, and reduced environmental impact,
it's critical to estimate and optimize rock mobility during blasting. Since rock blasting is a complicated process that
includes explosive detonation, gas expansion, stress wave propagation, rock fragmentation and throw, and muckpile
creation, modeling the entire dynamic process is difficult and computationally taxing.
