How to Improve Your Golf Swing with a Strong Trail Leg Brace
If you're struggling with inconsistent ball striking, losing power, or battling early extension in your golf swing, your trail leg stability could be the culprit. In this video, I’ll show you why maintaining a strong trail leg brace in the backswing is crucial for improving your golf swing, increasing distance, making solid contact and reducing your swaying.

A common mistake many golfers make is allowing the pressure to move to the outside of their trail foot during the backswing. This causes the trail knee and trail hip to slide, leading to a loss of posture, early extension, flipping at impact, and inconsistent shots. Whether you're hitting it fat, thin, or slicing the ball, poor lower body stability is often a key factor.

I’ll break down the proper stance width, weight distribution, and hip rotation you need to maintain a strong foundation throughout the swing. By keeping the pressure inside your trail foot, you set yourself up for an efficient weight shift and powerful downswing. I’ll also explain how golf shoes affect your swing stability and why the right footwear can make a difference in your performance.

To help bring these concepts to life, I’ll walk you through a real golf lesson recap, showing how a student fixed their lower body mechanics for better ball striking and more consistent shot-making.
