5 years ago my buddy David Bailey started writing this Star Wars and Aladdin mashup. He sent it to me and it sat on my brain's to do list for years, but what better time to make it a reality than now--with The Force Awakens at our doorstep. We are incredibly happy and proud to present A Whole New Hope, enjoy! -Andy

Shining, shimmering, Star Wars

You last punch the hyper-drive?

Rescue you from a Death Star

On a magic Falcon ride

I told the Empire the Rebel base

ANDY: The garbage shoot was a wonderful Idea
LANA: I thought my planet was in the clear
ANDY: What an incredible smell you've discovered
LANA: But then the Death Star
They went too far
I can't go back to where I used to be

ANDY: A whole new hope
LANA: Alderaan got blown up
ANDY: With new rebellions to pursue
LANA: By Grand Moff Tarkin and Darth Vader
BOTH: They'll chase us anywhere
We won’t despair
Because we’ll fire a proton torpedo
ANDY: straight down a ventilation shaft--
LANA: Which is conveniently vulnerable and even more conveniently leads in a straight line, the pipe doesn’t even curve, right down to the station core, I mean who would build it like that? It seems like a huge oversight right?

ANDY: A whole new hope
LANA: A whole new hope
ANDY: That's where we'll be
LANA: That's where we'll be
ANDY: A thrilling chase
LEIA: In outer space
BOTH: For you and me

LANA: I love Star Wars.
