🎞️ SUMMARY:
A sequel to "HOME: A Journey", HOME II is my final short film, that picks off from the last film's alternate reality ending, culminating in the actual choices I made in life.
📝 EXPLANATION:
I grew up imagining a completely different life, from the one I was actually living, where I could be free to be who I was and express myself. It took me a while to realize that reality was different (HOME: A Journey) and I was born in a place where I became a minority, constantly endangered and living under a shadow of fear from the majority (03:10). I tried to conform (HOME: A Journey) and even following the way of life of the majority (02:18) but it just wasn’t me. So in the end, I decided to give up trying to force myself and simply left (04:20), instead of risking my life at the mercy of a possible lynch mob (03:11) in the future.
