Rye Station (

This station on the Marshlink Line is well known to Jordan and Fitzherbert because two Class 171s meet in a passing loop, because heading to Ore and to Appledore, it's a single track, so one train has to wait for the other to clear the line! Here, they film 171 802 to Eastbourne and 171 803 to Ashford, which depart at almost the same time and sound single tone horns past Grove Road Level Crossing (heading to Ashford) and Ferry Road Level Crossing (heading to Eastbourne)! In the past, when they had 4 coaches, the carriage for bikes would often unable to disembark from because both platforms can only fit 3 coaches! This is also where they began their bike ride for the day at quarter to 10 this morning! Also, in the discussions, Jordan mentioned that it would be difficult to film both trains departing if they left at the same time so they had to alternate between the two DMUs!
