Searching for Wild Mustangs Spring Creek Basin

We visited the Spring Creek Basin wild horse management area recently. This was after a heavy rain event that occurred in early October which changed the condition of the roads in the Basin. Here is a link to TJ Holmes blog describing the impact of the rain.

On this visit we followed TJ into areas that we hadn’t previously explored. We show you drone footage of those areas, but never flying the drone near the mustangs.

We hope you enjoy our images and videos of the area. A word of caution is that the roads can be very muddy and impassable if there has been snow or rain. So, check the weather and going in to the area and the condition of roads before proceeding deep into the area.
