Discover Women Artists at Victoria Art Gallery
Discover the life and work of the artist Therese Lessore. Her reputation as an artist is often overshadowed by that of her husband's, Walter Sickert. However In this film Museum Assistant, Jim, explains how their relationship was collaborative: she would photograph scenes which he would later translate onto canvas, and she may even have applied the background layers of paint to some of his work.
