First North Western: Terrible new Trains?!| Failed Franchises #24: FNW

Hello & welcome to the twenty-fourth episode of my Failed Franchises series. In this series I look at train companies that no longer operate and determine whether they should be viewed as a failure or not! Today is the second episode of my Welsh operators mini-series where I look at the operators in Wales (although todays operator primarily served the NW of England!). We are looking at the first and only operator of the North West Regional Railways franchise, First North Western or North Western Trains as it was first known.
