In this podcast, three experts—Paul Coleman, Stephen Bartulica MEP and Rod Dreher—unpacked the threats to free speech online posed by the Digital Services Act (DSA), a censorial EU regulation.
This podcast was chaired by Mr Bartulica, who is a European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR) Member of the European Parliament (MEP), from Croatia.
Mr Dreher is an American journalist and bestselling author. His books include ‘The Benedict Option’, ‘Live Not By Lies’ and, most recently, ‘Living in Wonder’. He is also a Visiting Fellow at the Danube Institute think tank.
Mr Coleman is an international human rights lawyer specialising in free speech and Executive Director of ADF International, a Christian legal organisation that defends freedom of expression.
This podcast was filmed in the European Parliament on Wednesday 21 May, following a first-of-its-kind, cross-party event in the European Parliament, on the DSA and free speech.
The event was co-hosted by MEPs Mr Bartulica and Virginie Joron, and ADF International. Mr Dreher also spoke at the event.
