Gymnastics Strength Training Part 2 - 'The Result' - EPIC Strength Skills

Earlier this year, I posted part 1 of this video mini-series – ‘The Process’; which was essentially a training montage designed to capture the effort and dedication which has gone into my strength training over the past few years. Now, I present part 2 – ‘The Result’ which aims to showcase the rewards of all of that hard work and sacrifice.
A lot of the skills included in this video have been long term goals for me for a LONG time, like, almost a decade in the making in some cases. A lot of the most advanced elements here are not perfect form, but all have been achieved to a standard which I am satisfied with, considering my height, weight, age and injury history. I am extremely proud of the journey which I have been on in order to get to this point.
Upon reflection, as awful as the Covid situation has been generally, I do not think that I would have achieved half of these skills if lockdown had never happened. Having all of that extra time on my hands really allowed me to re-think my strategy and to plan out a more effective, and patient approach, to work towards these targets within a realistic timeframe. Being forced to focus almost exclusively on strength and conditioning whilst gyms were closed was ultimately completely necessary in order for me to achieve the level of strength that I have done.
You could say that in a strange way the situation benefitted me in the long run, but I prefer to think of it as, I was resourceful and simply stubbornly pursued my goals regardless of the circumstances.
