I laid the canvas on the floor and painted as if I had abandoned all the rules of painting. But even then, I still used a traditional brush and traditional paint. It made me realize that there is no such thing as complete freedom in painting. If you want pure freedom, you should not paint at all. To paint is to accept limits, to let go of thought, and to move without control. I enjoyed the beauty of the primary colors, blue, red, yellow, white, and black.
