The song and the music don’t belong to me but the lovely musical Spring Awakening!

Although the song itself is fine, the animatic makes multiple references to both Moritz and Ilse’s lives. As such it mentions or references child abuse, suicide and mental illness. It also has a bit of blood.

Unfortunately thoughout the song there are mentions of mental illness, so it can’t be avoided. If you are experiencing something like these characters, please talk to someone or find a way to get help. The next animatic will be much lighter than these last two.

Man this took longer than expected- but I did it! Spring Awakening is such a powerful musical, and one of my favourites. It deals with some heavy stuff, but it also has some amusing songs and heart warming ones. I highly recommend it, as the musical hasn’t been given as much love recently as it should have. On February 14 [hopefully] Ill be posting another animatic from an underrated musical! In the meantime I recommend listening to musicals like Bare, Ordinary Days, and Amelie, as well as an underrated group called Haha Charade. All were recommended to me by commenters, and I recommend checking them out!
