Finale B - Rent Animatic

My first official animatic. A few years ago I wanted Tango Maureen to be the first one I did but plans changed and I decided to make this one! Just before pride finishes, I wanted to make something that could make people happy. So this being one of my favourite musicals, and one of my favourite songs, I figured I'd do this.

This animatic was made in a month, with the primary bulk lasting maybe about a week with outlining and colour. Throughout it, you can probably see that my style gradually shifted as I realized I couldn't make all the drawings neatly done, and it got a little messy. But throughout the animatic, I did little things that sort of made up for it. There are a lot of frames I really loved, mainly the close-ups, and some I didn't really like the best. Part of me wished I did a simpler style, but I don't regret the final product aside from a few details.

Anyways, I hope you like this animatic as much as I enjoyed making it! If you like this song, I highly recommend listening to the rest of the musical. One of my favourite musicals, that will make you laugh, and cry.
