Justine Neil - FBC (Lisa Navarro)

Justine is a huge Lisa Navarro fan and expressed an interest in covering FBC which is easily my favourite song of Lisa's.

After the reasonable effort she made of 'Leave No Trace' I was expecting a similar outcome for FBC but to be honest, I think she's totally killed it here - in a number of ways this beats the Navarro original hands down.

IMO this really does show the difference between the Suno v5 model and previous versions. V5's sound quality is doubtless superior and is excellent at producing covers of existing songs but I feel it struggles to produce really jaw-dropping compositions and arrangements in its own right.

Anyway that said, I think it's probably a good point at which to say that with the recent changes at Suno, I like many other curators of generated 'personas' will be hoping that voices like Justine's as well as those of Lisa, Nell etc will survive the transition but whatever happens, I'll be doing my best to complete a catalogue of interesting material by the end of the year.

If the worst comes the worst and 'Big Music' starts to throttle the expression of the existing services, I would hope that we can look east and in particular to that much maligned country which inspired this song, to help continue what has started so promisingly.
