Easy How-to Guide: E46 M3 Valve Adjustment

If you're looking to improve your mechanics skills, this is the video for you! In this BMW E46 M3 valve adjustment tutorial, we'll show you with the help of a BMW tech how to adjust your valves. I will also walk you through the motions of removing the valve cover and all other parts necessary for a valve adjustment. Take a deep breath, document everything on a white board or a piece of paper, and get your hands dirty. I believe in you and know that you too can service your M3.

Remember, valve adjustments must be done every 30,000 miles on an E46 M3. You should also replace your spark plugs (mine were done 2,000 miles ago) at the same time. There are many parts that should be replaced to ensure that your M3 is in top running condition.
