Steve Walker interviews Laouen de Kersauson, builder of the V8 catamaran, the Credit Crunch Catamaran which is no longer being built. (But the ELF 26 cat • ELF 26 Catamaran is available.) In this video Laouen explains why VirusBoats decided to build the 8 metre boat and the reasoning behind some of the design aspects, such as the inversed, wave-piercing bow, the chine along the sides and the skeg; features that make the boat safe to sail with your family, durable and trouble free and yet light, exhilarating and great fun, which is why you would want to buy one. Steve also sails the boat with Laouen and other friends and staff of the company so you can see her in action too.
