This third volume of Pastorius Live in New York City finds Jaco, Kenwood, and Hiram joined by friends Delmar Brown, Alex Foster, Michael Gerber, Jerry Gonzalez, and Butch Thomas for a collective run at some wildly diverse material. In ardent and inventive performances, these musicians display an uncommon brilliance and fluency of exchange as they challenge each other in covers including both Alfie and If You Could See Me Now. Delmar's beautiful Promise Land, and Jaco classics Continuum and Teen Town draw inspired performances, and Delmar, Michael and Jaco all take a chance at the microphone.
