Carnival Splendor Journey Cruise - Bali - Shopping, Bintangs and a whole lotta Traffic

The last Port before Singapore on our Carnival Splendor Journey cruise was Bali.
We've been to bail before so we didn't want to commit to a massive day with a shore excursion.
So instead we organised a driver through a Tour business we've used before to pick us up from the Cruise terminal and take us to Seminyak which is familiar territory from our previous trip. The idea was to do some shopping, maybe have a few Bintangs and chill before heading back to the ship before it left at 4pm. Unfortunately, despite getting up at 6.00am to get Water shuttle tickets, we were very late getting off the ship. Then the traffic was so bad, that by the time we reached Seminyak, we were already past the Turnaround time we were comfortable with.
We still did a bit of shopping and had a Bintang but we were anything but chill.
In the end, we were relieved to get back to the ship.
The takeaway from this is that it is very difficult to comfortably do much in Bali in one day when you are on a cruise ship. Best to go for a week or so and organise Tours when it doesn't matter what time you get back to your accommodation.
In the end, this vlog is about nothing much except being in crazy traffic. However, I do love the crazy traffic in Bali, it's a real experience.
