Kevin is ethnically Portuguese but was born and raised in Luxembourg. His parents moved to Luxembourg to escape the socio-economic situation in Portugal in the 1990s. Because he faced discrimination in Luxembourg throughout his upbringing there, he denied his ethnicity for a long time. He also moved to the U.S. to finish high school where he was exposed to different cultures and expanded his knowledge on current issues. This is his story.
