On Saturday, November 19th, Andrew and I spent the day railfanning the CFRC, better known as the SunRail Corridor, or the A-Line. From Orlando to Sanford, we started off the day with CSX M455 departing Taft Yard with a very nice C40-8W Leader (note its graffiti mustache and smiley face), followed by heading into downtown for 3 back-to-back Amtrak Silver Service trains. Silver Star 91 had mechanical problems in DeLand and held everything up for about 3 hours, causing a rush of trains when the mess was cleared up. Finally, we chase Silver Meteor 98 with the Pepsi Can heritage unit in the lead from Orlando to the Lake Monroe Drawbridge, where we were met with an awesome horn show as we watched the Dash-8 Phase 3 roll by one last time.
