"Deliver Us", the opening number in the 1998 Dreamworks film "The Prince of Egypt", was written by Stephen Schwartz. The song takes us through scenes of Hebrew slavery, Yocheved desperately finding survival for her baby Moses, sending him floating down the River Nile, and setting in motion the eventual exodus of the Hebrews from Egypt. We hope this string quartet arrangement evokes memories of this monumental movie.
