Re-built Front Entry Door on our Skoolie Part 2

The front door project continues in this video, with a whole lot more welding, grinding, cutting, drilling, screwing, bondo, sanding and priming... plus glass cutting shenanigans that are sure to make you cringe! Seriously, this was the most involved fabrication Mike has done on this entire build. Sure, he's done some welding and cutting before, and he's even done some water-proofing. But this project required a full dis-assembly of the existing door (see Part 1), then fabricating a new door reusing many of those parts, while making sure hinges work right, the glass could be re-used, and every single part of the door and doorway would be sealed air- and water-tight! Not to mention, Mike had to have his Geeked-out Biometric Door Lock, complete with fingerprint entry, passcode and key! It was no small feat to accomplish all this, and we may have had a few small bumps ~ I mean cracks ~ along the way, but in the end we have a working, weatherproof, well-secured front door!

About Us:

Hi! We are Mike & Kerry, the proud owners of a 1992 Bluebird rear engine (pusher), 40' school bus! We named her Bussy McBusface in honor of the RRS Boaty McBoatface travesty!
