The London Symphony Orchestra and Edinburgh Festival Chorus perform "Lux aeterna" by Verdi's "Missa da Requiem".

Verdi's Messa da Requiem is no longer conceived for liturgical use, but solely for concert performances; this is why it is often ironically referred to as Verdi's 'best opera'.
