For most of my homemaking journey, we've lived on a low income or below the poverty line. Right now, with economists warning of economic slowdown, rising taxes in our state, and a devastating drought that destroyed our garden this year, our grocery budget is stretched thin. We're already running out of what we managed to grow, so every penny counts.
But I've learned that tight budgets don't mean we can't eat well or create beauty in our homes. In this video, I share how we created our beautiful kitchen on a budget (while the rest of our house isn't even finished!), plus practical tips for elegant homemaking below the poverty line:
