For years, I was told I was "too sensitive." I didn't know I was anxious - I just thought something was fundamentally wrong with me. Then I got a PTSD diagnosis, and everything finally made sense.
In this video, I'm sharing my journey of healing my anxious nervous system through slow living and intentional homemaking. Once I could name what I was dealing with, I could finally find the tools to address it.
What helps calm my nervous system as a homemaker:
Gardening and planning for spring
Handwork projects like sewing and crocheting
Slow kitchen days with intentional cooking
Homeschool moments listening to my children read
Rest and biblical meditation
A good cup of tea and scripture reading
