Meet Constable Dineo Khwinana, whose journey in the South African Police Service began tragically when she was involved in a car accident that resulted in the loss of one of her colleagues. However, this event did not deter her focus; instead, she continued with determination and enthusiasm to learn more about the police.
Constable Khwinana started her career in the South African Police Service as an intern in 2018. After completing her internship, she pursued further training in policing, which she successfully undertook in 2023.
She says being part of the South African Police Service is a dream and hopes to make a difference by serving and protecting the community.
She encourages young people to apply for the trainee vacancies. The application period for police trainees closes at midnight today, July 18, 2025. Don’t wait—submit your application before the deadline.
