In this vlog, we explore the world famous Cathedral Cove on foot. We initially wanted to see it from the water, as there are many boat tours out of Hahei and Whitianga that normally run during the Spring and Summer months. Unfortunately however, the day we were in Hahei, the ocean was too choppy and none of the boat operators were willing to take us out. The cove is still incredible by foot as you will see, so well worth it and much cheaper to do it this way!
After taking in Cathedral Cove we drove up the coast about an hour to New Chums beach, notoriously known as one of NZ's top beaches. After a tricky walk, we discovered what all the hype was about!
