One of my best pals, training partners, and teammates, Chandler smith is in town for us to take on my very first Hyrox in Miami this weekend. We had a full week of training in the lead up, which consisted of this hefty weekly beast:
25.1 - but do it synchro!
15 min amrap ladder (up by 3s)
3 burpee over dumbbell
3 single arm dumbbell clean and jerks (50, 35)
15 foot lunge (down and back)
Rest 10 min
For time:
60 snatches (225, 155)
At the 40 min mark, complete
For time:
60 ring muscle ups
Three tough workouts individually and a beast of a challenge back to back to back! Watch the video to see how we approach each of them and to see if we can make cool things (like big sets on the ring muscle ups) happen!
