Street Running Coal Train In The Middle Of The Street, Williamstown West Virginia Street Runner! CSX

Long coal train in the middle of the road in downtown Williamstown, West Virginia! This CSX street running train was a loaded coal train going to the power plant at Pleasants Power Station near Belmont, West Virginia. Trains do street running on 2nd Street in Williamstown and I drove alongside the coal train for a short distance and then filmed it at a railroad crossing on Julia Street. This was a good catch for me since it was my first time to this town and also since the power plant is scheduled to close on June 1, 2022. Fewer and fewer coal trains are running on this line and pretty much everywhere due to the war on coal. This CSX line runs east and west and also goes down the middle of the street in Saint Marys , West Virginia. This coal train stopped before it got to Saint Marys. I spent 2 days in Saint Marys filming street running trains but only 4 trains went through and 3 were in the dark. This is not a very busy line anymore. There are more trains in Williamstown because it gets locals that go through to the industry near Belmont that don't make it as far as Saint Marys. I learned that the hard way. This train went eastbound at 11:29am and uses 160.230 with a defect detector just a few miles east of here near MP79. Check out the awesome old passenger station in Williamstown at MP81!
