Saturn ION front Control Arm Bushing replacement

Saturn ION Control Arm Bushing replacement. Chevrolet Cobalt, HHR and probably other GM Delta platform cars as well. This is for the front button bushing that fails on many of these cars. BUY THE WHOLE CONTROL ARM THAT INCLUDES THE BUSHINGS AND BALL JOINT. Watch the whole video so you can see where I wasted time trying to line up the button bushing and how it is best to bolt the front (Roller Type) bushing in and get the ball joint in and then put the tire back on and let the car off the jack - then the new button bushing (the one that fails in the first place) will line up so the bolt can go through it. If you follow my advice on lining it up you can have it done in an hour less than it took me -- you will get it done in 90 minutes or less. You may need to have the wheel aligned -- my steering wheel moved a bit off center but the car seems to drive the same (it does not pull) and of course the loud banging of the arm against the frame is gone. I might get it aligned after I do the other side -- it has not failed yet however with time it could. Play the video full screen so you can see details.
