I decided to edit and publish this hike in the Lakes regardless of not completing the hike I set out to do. Scafell is the highest peak in England and the weather can be very unpredictable. I think it will be a good example of underestimating certain conditions and timings. Always take care and deciding to turn back is always an option if you are unsure.
