Today's quick video is a an introduction to three rare (ish) exotic / tropical style evergreen plants that are tough, beautiful and deserve to be planted more in UK gardens, even small spaces! These are fantastic for evergreen interest and I look at the following plants: Fargesia demissa 'Gerry', a striking non-invasive black / purple clumping bamboo, a hardy Chamaedorea radicalis feather palm (like a Kentia houseplant), great for bringing a tropical look to a shady border or garden plus a Yucca linearis / linearifolia - a beautiful and architectural statement plant which will thrive in a sunny spot with well drained soil - perfect for an arid or desert style garden or raised bed.
