A Downhill ONLY Trail, Without The Lift.. Cedar Creek DH | Ruidoso New Mexico Mountain Bike Trails

In todays video I am in New Mexico, for a short stay in Alamogordo. Luckily for me though, there is a downhill only trail just an hours drive away, in BEAUTIFUL Ruidoso, New Mexico. The trail is a 1.3 mile black diamond trail, this one way bike only trail is pretty darn fun. Unfortunately it was a cold and very windy day, with a winter storm blowing in, so I had my work cut out for me.
With 425' of descent, this downhill jump line keeps you moving and on your toes. The beginning of the trail has some small doubles, tabletops, and rollers to warm you up for the rest of the trail. Quickly the tabletops and gaps get larger, and the lips get steeper. I was having some troubles clearing a lot of the larger jumps but that is something I am working on. However if you find yourself in the Ruidoso area, I highly recommend checking this area out. It has many other trails around it for all skill levels and is not far from Ruidoso's beautiful xc loops.
