✽Theme: The Past

✽Interpretation:

In our past life, we lived in the crazy town of Tokio Funka.
We held precarious lives: the girls suffered through prostitution and degradation, while the boys sought the sensation of freedom through drugs.
Although soundless, we were all thinking the same thing.
Surely there must be a better life out there.
But the countless days grew hopeless.

“Their eyes empty”.

Clouded. Secretly suffocating to the brink of delusion.
There’s absolutely nothing inside of you.

“As you are now, it’s as if you’re half-dead.”

We all served the tyrant of an emperor.
Our daily lives were like a rambunctious, neverending festival.
How much longer could we live in reservation?
We were all getting sick of it.

Then one unexpected day, the festival transformed into a rebellion (as people were becoming more and more dissatisfied of their lives being just one meaningless party).
It seemed to have happened in the blink of an eye.

“The transient world is but a moment.”

The six of us eagerly joined the rebellion.

Maybe it was our bloodthirsty urges that allowed us to meet on the battlefield.
It was like we could taste the fiery passion that dwelled within us.
That was the first and last time we ever saw each other.

In retrospect, our fates were intertwined... tangled with the red string of fate (blood turns into crimson bonds).


“I’d like to believe we could meet again in the next life… and maybe even fall in love.”
