Waterford Distillery have announced they're having to call it a day, and the news of the demise of the Irish Single Farm Estate Distillery has come as sad news to many in the whisky community - but not many of them seem very surprised - myself included.
So why did the distillery fail? There are likely to be bigger reasons that aren't yet public knowledge, however from an outsider looking in, I have some thoughts, so here are five reasons Waterford Distillery Failed.
