How I launch my Seawych onto a slipway when the tide is out. I realised that 4 blocks on the ground is better than 2.
Someone else was present, but I completed this alone (although I did ask for him to kick one of the chocks out at one point).
I dont know if this method will work with other bilge keelers? but I know it does on a Seawych as the keels are vertical, and not splayed out (like Hurleys, etc).
This video is an accurate demonstration of what I do.
Got to love mucking about in small boats.
