Hello everyone, welcome to a brand new video where we will be covering 2023 sugarcane train activity of South Johnstone Mill! South Johnstone Mill is a sugar mill owned by MSF Sugar operating trains on 2ft (610mm) gauge over a large network connected to Mulgrave and Tully Mills. Their area spans from around Mirriwinni all the way down to Silkwood. The mill itself is around the centre of this network, located in South Johnstone about an hour south of Cairns and about 5-10 minutes south of Innisfail in Queensland, Australia. Due to rain happening on prior days in the Innisfail area, the mill wasn't sending that many trains north so we will be mainly seeing trains in the south east of the South Johnstone Mill network.
