NANJING 🇨🇳 VLOG: Golden Gingko, Ancient City Walls, Soy Sauce Noodles & Nanjing Pancake!

Soren Comes Home to a Golden Nanjing in December 🇨🇳

Hey, it's Soren! Join me as I explore my hometown of Nanjing, China. We'll start with a delicious Nanjing pancake – a savory local specialty. Then, it's off to the historic Chaotian Palace, a beautiful Confucian temple with stunning architecture. I'll show you the impressive Gate of Great Achievement and the golden gingko trees that make Nanjing so picturesque in the winter.

Lunch is at one of my favorite local spots for Zhangji noodles! This place is a Nanjing institution, where I will endulge on a delicious soy sauce-based soup, pork, and crispy bones. Afterward, we'll explore charming old streets, discover the unique blend of old and new architecture, and maybe even uncover a few hidden gems.

In the afternoon, we'll find some peace and quiet on Yihe Road, a historic street lined with villas and more ginko trees. Then, it's time for some city vibes at Xinjiekou, one of China's busiest shopping districts. And of course, no trip to Nanjing is complete without a visit to the magnificent Nanjing City Wall, a true marvel of Ming Dynasty engineering. We'll end the day at Lao Men Dong, a historic street that transforms into a vibrant hub at night.
