During his speech at the second economic forum, PS Ggoobi emphasized that Uganda has successfully tackled inflation, a prevalent global economic challenge. The aim for this year was to keep inflation below 5%. By the beginning of this fiscal year, the BOU had reduced the inflation rate to a single-digit number.
