Book 6 Trailer: From the Depths of Time, part one

Synopsis:

Shortly after an exploration ship visits the planet Copernicus a xenoarchaeological expedition on Turilsus is attacked by an alien menace, starting a chain of events that threatens the human race in the past, present and future.

When the crew of the time ship Valentinian visit the late twenty eighth century they discover that the Centaur race has returned after a millennia-long absence from the galaxy, and are hunting down the last remnants of humanity. In light of such a threat, Valentinian’s crew consider it their obligation to warn Temporal Security of the impending threat that they’ll be facing in the twenty sixth century, despite the risk; with many of them being temporal duplicates due to various timeline changes, it’s possible that Temporal Security will deem their existence a threat to time by having more than one version of them in existence at once.

When Earth is attacked by the Centaurs it seems that the warning from the future is already too late. With the means of invading time at different points simultaneously without creating paradoxical conflicts, the Centaurs are able to stage multiple invasions across human history, making themselves unstoppable.
