In this session we explore the role of the Queensland Public Trustee (QPT) Customer Advocate, a team introduced in 2021 to provide QPT customers with an independent voice.
In this meeting, learn how the Customer Advocate:
-achieves fair and equitable outcomes for customers
-makes sure that the customer’s views are considered in any decision that is made
-helps customers escalate matters.
The session will also explore how the Customer Advocate incorporates human rights respecting practices into their work to better support and empower customers, and how you as community services providers can work with the Customer Advocate to support this approach.
