We left Kromrivier en route to the Biedouw Valley via Eselbank. Our departure was delayed as a Swiss couple (Dolly and Herbert) informed us about certain flowers they saw in the sand. We thought this could only be Cat's Claw and because sightings are rare, we decided to follow them to the site where they accidentally stumbled upon it while Herbert was looking at the Cypress trees. This was an unexpected highlight early in the day as we were also rewarded with a spectacular Eselbank Waterfall.
