VW Golf GTI TCR | Sunset POV Drive on Calm Mountain Pass

One of the very last sunset drives in my now sold Golf GTI TCR, taken out for a proper run on a completely empty mountain pass. Perfect conditions, warm evening light, and a road that really let the car show what it was capable of.

The TCR always impressed me with how planted and capable it felt when driven hard, especially with my choice of chassis modifications. Its chuckable nature and the overall balance made these evening drives something special.

This was one of those drives you remember long after the car is gone. Enjoy 🙂

7-speed DSG (DQ381)
Tyres: 235/35/19 Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2

Modifications:
• HG Motorsport Ego-X OPF-back valved exhaust (TÜV approved)
• AMA Exhaust OPF delete (stock catalytic converter retained)
• RacingLine R600 intake + RacingLine turbo elbow
• Audi TT RS lower control arm bushings
• GTI Clubsport S wheel hub carriers / knuckles (≈ –2° front camber)
• RacingLine subframe brace

The engine and transmission software remain completely stock, although the car always felt stronger than the official figures suggest.
