Hello everyone, welcome to SA Today on 28 November 2025. We begin today's video with a big storm that hit Oudtshoorn in the Western Cape Province, South Africa, today. Trees fell over in the road, blocking traffic. Roads in Modimolle were flooded after heavy rain today. The Vaal River is flooding low water bridges near Viljoenskroon and Parys. Many bridges across the Vaal River is closed due to flooding. Heavy rain and hail in Pretoria and Centurion. Upington also received some rain. The Orange River is also starting to flood. We take off from Cape Town International Airport. We visit the Addo Elephant National Park with Brom Africa. Also, walk around the streets of Newlands, Cape Town. Hammerhead and Hyena in Kruger National Park today. We will also show you several other locations across South Africa today.

Today, many parts of South Africa can expect thunderstorms and unsettled weather due to an approaching trough system. Severe storms are likely in the Cape Provinces, Free State Province, and Limpopo Province, with rainfall amounts possibly reaching 20 to 50 millimetres in some areas. The South African Weather Service has issued impact-based warnings: Yellow Level 4 for severe thunderstorms with flooding and strong winds in Limpopo and Mpumalanga; Yellow Level 2 for heavy downpours and hail in the Free State, southwestern North West Province, and central Eastern Cape Province; and Yellow Level 1 for strong coastal winds between Table Bay and Plettenberg Bay. Residents are advised to remain cautious and monitor official updates.
