How to Make Rice Porridge / Congee with Garden Harvest

I wanted to share this simple recipe of rice porridge that I like to make using garden harvest and left over rice. Hope you enjoy.

Ingredients:
1 cup of leftover white rice
2 cups of water or broth of your choice
1 egg (optional)
salt and pepper to taste
toppings or veggies of your choice
