Wig Making: Custom Head Form Or Head Block

This video shows how to construct a custom made head form or head block which is used by wig makers to create a full lace foundation for a hand knotted or hand tied wig.

Once a head wrap of the artists head has been obtained, it is then used to pad up the wig making head form or block. This custom head form will be a replica of the artist head.

This head form or head block is then used to make a full lace foundation, the base of the human hair wig. This foundation will fit the artist perfectly.

The lace foundation is then ready for the human hair to be hand knotted or ventilated into it to create your wig.
