Micah 3:9–4:2 shows that God’s judgment begins with His own people. Israel’s civil and religious leaders enrich themselves through bribes and “paid prophecy,” convinced that covenant status will shield them from punishment—until Zion is plowed under. Yet the same passage looks ahead to a restored Mount Zion, when the nations stream to Jerusalem, Gentiles learn Torah, and God’s ways—not man‑made church traditions—define truth.
