Jarrett Martin, one of the most inspiring people you will ever meet, spoke of his terrible accident. Paralyzed from the chest down following that, it did not sour his passion for skydiving and he currently works for Skydive Dubai. Suffering severe injuries at the age of 18, he feels lucky today that he can keep living his dream of skydiving and have no regrets ever. His perseverance and tenacity were truly something. He shared a video of his skydiving routine from a plane, to close his Talk, and it wowed everyone in the room.
Left fighting for his life, when a speed-flying attempt went awry, he is now paralyzed from the chest down as a result of the incident. But, through his passion for skydiving, he became just one of two disabled people to complete a Base Jump. He is now a qualified master parachute rigger for Skydive Dubai, and an inspiration to many to keep their dreams alive.
