Welcome back to my channel!!! and in today's video, I will be showing you how to clean and fry Tasso Kabrit also known as Fried Goat Meat

Ingredients to Clean Tasso (Fried)
3 lbs of goat meat
1 cup of white vinegar
1 sour orange skin (peeled)
2 limes
2 tablespoons of salt
Lemon Juice
Ingredients to Marinate/Season Tasso (Goat Meat)
2 tablespoons of sour orange juice
2 tablespoons of Haitian epis (Haitian seasoning)
1 tablespoons of minced garlic
1 tablespoons of hot sauce
1 hot pepper
Thyme /parsley
2 tablespoons of lime/lemon juice
1 tablespoons of Badia complete seasoning
1 Packet of Goya Chicken Bouillon (optional)
1 teaspoon of black pepper (optional)
1 teaspoon of Garlic Salt (optional)
Ingredients to Fry Tasso (Goat Meat)
1 tablespoon of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Directions:
Step 1: Clean the meat with the cleaning ingredients and wash the meat against the lime. You will rinse the meat with the cold water and you will repeat the process 4 times. While you are cleaning the meat, make sure you put the peeled sour orange skin to the boiling water and pour the hot water over the meat. This is too really disinfect the meat before cooking and to remove the smell of the goat since it has a really strong smell. Also, be sure to remove the fat from the meat.
Step 2: After your final wash of the meat, you will add the seasoning ingredients and let it marinate for 1 hour
Step 3: Now you will put your pot on medium high heat and add the oil let the meat cook. PLEASE BE SURE TO ADD 4 CUPS OF WATER TO PREVENT THE MEAT FROM STICKING TO THE PAN AND FOR THE MEAT TO BE THROUGHLY COOKED. You can also add the hot pepper and parsley/thyme but its only optional.
Step 4: After 45 minutes has passed, you will add 2 more cups of water
Step 5: Once the water has evaporated or start to dry up, you will then remove the meat and begin frying the goat meat.You will let the Tassos fry for at least 3 minutes and you will remove it and let it sit to cool down. PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN FRYING BECAUSE IT WILL BE VERY HOT AND YOU DON’T WANT TO BURN YOURSELF.
Step 6: Enjoy your Tasso
